For anyone that dose not understand what Powerline Adaptor do they convert the electrical weiring in your house for use with ethernet data, Make sure you get ones that are rated for 200mb/s as this means they do 100mb/s incoming and outgoing and do not get the 85mb/s ones as they will only do 42.5mb/s incoming and outgoing, with all Powerline Adaptor they are much more reliable than wireless

Powerline adaptors are only to be recommended if you live over half a mile from your nearest neighbour, maritime, government or military radio user.
They cause widespread interference to radio listeners and in most cases fail to meet the required standards.
They are, with increasing frequency, being removed from houses by enforcement agencies.

Staind20960 December 21, 2009 at 7:44 pm

so can wi-fi to an extent. i havent been able to pick up a radio station in my house since i got my wireless router and i dont see enforcement agencies removing wireless routers from houses. someone told you wrong on that one.

g7txu December 21, 2009 at 8:15 pm

Stain, you might be a very smart IT tech, but one thing you are not is an RF technician in contrast to myself.
I can tell you two things quite categorically, WiFi does not inteferere with normal analogue broadcasting.

PLT in every case creates a significant disruption to radio listeners. The scope of interference can be up to several blocks.

TheDANioz December 24, 2009 at 1:18 am

do you need an internet connection thing in order to play games on your ps3 ?

richardge212 December 29, 2009 at 2:07 am

@TheDANioz no only if you wanna play online.

richardge212 December 29, 2009 at 2:09 am

@swanton200 no

jimijable December 30, 2009 at 1:14 pm

Yeah exactly same principle.

narutofroever January 2, 2010 at 3:26 am

so u only have to plug the ethernet into the ps3 and the adapter then u have internet? or do u have to plug it in the router too in order to have internet. i really want online.

Warbringer101 April 28, 2010 at 9:09 pm
